Liberation! released on Mexican Summer and Memphis Industries in June of last year was universally embraced by the press, called a “cult classic in waiting” by UNCUT magazine. As an album, Bauer uses Liberation! as an opportunity to welcome the rest of the world into his personal history of a childhood spent living in ashrams, and a life shaped by the constant presence of religion and mythology amidst uncertainty. In the works now….. Recording began at Big Orange in Austin Texas March 2015 with Matt Oliver on the decks, Jordan Johns & Stephen Patterson on the drums. More updates to come.
